This module interprets retained Google, Microsoft and Meta reporting captures with independent calendar, attribution and recency standing. A report context binds a raw artifact and native row to declared API, method, account, request time, zone and report settings. A current account setting alone cannot supply historical applicability to a captured report.

This is the unofficial 0.1.0 module specification. Source review and executable correctness are separate standings. Full generation, runtime and publication verification are pending configured GitHub CI; this draft supplies no release, native write or client-adoption qualification.

Scope and intended use

This module interprets retained Google, Microsoft and Meta reporting captures with independent calendar, attribution and recency standing. A report context binds a raw artifact and native row to declared API, method, account, request time, zone and report settings. A current account setting alone cannot supply historical applicability to a captured report.

Agents can inspect the selected retained evidence, ask for missing scope or review, and keep unresolved answers visible. A successful inspection remains separate from permission to act on a live account.

Competency questions

  1. Which local date labels and zone rules define both report boundaries?
  2. What requested and effective attribution timing and settings apply to this capture?
  3. Does the retained series contain a newer partial or empty delivery?

Namespace

https://ontology.inferal.com/modules/advertising-reporting-context/

The prefix arc names the existing vocabulary. Term identity and the original RDF types remain stable. Shared advertising and commerce concepts supply scope; captured provider terms retain their provider-specific meaning.

Conceptual model

NativeCapture retains raw payload and digest. ProjectionCandidate preserves unresolved metric evidence instead of inventing a UTC observation. CalendarBoundaryRequest selects local boundaries and retained timezone rules; CalendarResolution resolves both independently. QualifiedMetricObservation represents resolved reporting instants while keeping attribution and evidence-origin standings separate. DeliveryEvidence includes empty and partial captures in a declared retained series.

Independent evidence axes
EvidenceWhat the consumer can conclude
Retained sourceThe selected bytes and represented claims remain inspectable.
Scoped interpretationThe named contract supplies a result with its own qualification and coverage.
Current action authorityLive permission, native applicability and client adoption require separately qualified evidence.

Native rows are expanded and projected in isolation with their retained published contexts. Source-artifact digest, capture ordinal, account and row scope must agree with declarations. The native inclusive stop date becomes an exclusive local end boundary through retained calendar mathematics. Gaps, overlaps, reversed intervals and unsupported dates remain unresolved. Calendar resolution alone cannot qualify attributed comparisons.

RDF permits incomplete descriptions. A conforming execution profile must enforce its declared closed-world input and output constraints. Unknown or conflicting business evidence must keep its explicit standing and cannot be converted into a favorable value.

Validation and interpretation

The requested attribution report-time mode stays separate from the effective mode and its timing support. Requested impression, conversion or mixed behavior cannot be presumed honored. Matching basis labels cannot replace applicable native settings content. Attribution comparisons require separately qualified scope and settings. A newer declared empty, partial or missing capture remains part of recency assessment; selecting an older successful row cannot prove current provider freshness. A read-only report supplies no write permission.

Validation establishes conformance to a selected profile. Retained scope, reported evidence and operational success keep their separate meanings. Runtime and generation evidence for this source repair remain pending GitHub CI.

Worked example and boundary

The partial context declares a native row and CallerDeclaredReportContext. It deliberately omits artifact, account, zone and attribution support, so it cannot qualify a reporting window or observation. A conforming context must supply the required scoped evidence instead of filling the omissions from a current account setting.

Inspect the declared roles and independent standings before using this evidence. Omitted source data or an unresolved qualification must remain visible. This example does not attest a live provider request or complete merchant history.

Term reference

Classes, properties and existing controlled evidence values retain their authored labels and definitions. Listing a controlled value here does not change its RDF type or grant execution authority.

arc:CalendarBoundaryRequest — Local calendar boundary request
Provider-semantic SPARQL selection of local date boundaries and declared zone. Generic calendar code only resolves these selected requests using retained TZif bytes.
arc:CalendarResolution — Retained calendar resolution
Both local midnight boundaries resolved independently. Gaps, overlaps, reversed and unsupported dates remain unresolved.
arc:DeliveryEvidence — Retained delivery evidence
Declared capture in a retained series, including empty or unprojected deliveries. Recency is evaluated independently of successful observations.
arc:Diagnostic — Reporting qualification diagnostic
Actionable native or pair qualification failure; it never fabricates an observation.
arc:NativeCapture — Retained native capture
Digest-bound native JSON-LD payload. Each capture is expanded and projected in isolation with retained published contexts.
arc:ProjectionCandidate — Reporting projection candidate
Native metric candidate whose uncertainties remain visible. An unresolved candidate is not a MetricObservation with a fabricated UTC interval.
arc:QualifiedMetricObservation — Qualified reporting observation
Versioned observation with resolved boundaries and explicit independent evidence standings. Calendar resolution alone does not qualify attributed comparisons.
arc:ReportContext — Declared report context
Source-artifact and native-row-bound declaration of API, method, account, capture and report interpretation. A current account setting alone is not historical report evidence.
arc:accountScope — accountScope
Caller-declared native account scope required to match the captured report row.
arc:apiVersion — apiVersion
Caller-declared native API version for the actual request capture. A version label alone does not verify native historical behavior.
arc:basis — basis
Retained attribution-basis IRI. Equality of this identifier alone does not establish comparable attribution semantics.
arc:calendarDigest — calendarDigest
Digest of the retained calendar evidence used for a boundary resolution.
arc:calendarRelease — calendarRelease
Release label declared in retained calendar metadata, without implying independently verified official byte correspondence.
arc:candidate — candidate
Qualification candidate from which a versioned observation was generated.
arc:capture — capture
Exact retained capture carrying a candidate, including capture ordinal and raw artifact digest.
arc:captureOrdinal — captureOrdinal
Zero-based ordinal within the ordered retained captures for a provider; repeated identical response bytes remain distinct captures.
arc:capturedAt — capturedAt
Declared capture timestamp with an explicit timezone. Missing or malformed timestamps cannot qualify recency or a closed reporting period.
arc:closedStanding — closedStanding
Whether the reporting end had passed at the explicitly represented capture instant.
arc:contextDigest — contextDigest
SHA256 of complete retained report-context Turtle bytes used for this interpretation.
arc:contextStanding — contextStanding
Evidence standing of a declaration; CallerDeclaredReportContext is distinct from verified native historical applicability.
arc:currency — currency
ISO currency code retained for a monetary metric; it does not imply currency conversion.
arc:defaultGraph — defaultGraph
Declared graph containing the public qualified reporting candidates and observations.
arc:defaultReportingService — defaultReportingService
Single declared qualified reporting service for a provider mapping.
arc:deliverySeries — deliverySeries
Caller-declared retained-delivery series. Its members can include empty or partial captures and do not imply live provider currentness.
arc:effectiveActionReportTime — effectiveActionReportTime
Declared effective attribution report-time mode, including impression, conversion or mixed. A requested mode is not an effective mode.
arc:end — end
Resolved exclusive reporting end instant represented as xsd:dateTimeStamp.
arc:evidenceOrigin — evidenceOrigin
Named provenance supplied for a report-context declaration; this link alone does not verify its content.
arc:forNativeReport — forNativeReport
Native row IRI to which a declared context or generated candidate applies. It does not identify an entire account history.
arc:freshnessStanding — freshnessStanding
Recency standing within retained declared series, independently of successfully projected metrics. It does not imply live freshness.

Digest of the complete retained interpretation source frame, including queries, programs and calendar rules; catalog discovery metadata is excluded.
arc:leftCaptureOrdinal — leftCaptureOrdinal
Retained provider capture ordinal of the left member of a pair diagnostic.
arc:leftSource — leftSource
Native resource on the left side of a reported pair diagnostic.
arc:legacyObservation — legacyObservation
Private historical projection observation used as a source for reprojection, never a qualified reporting default.
arc:legacyReportingStanding — legacyReportingStanding
Standing of the provider mapping historical reporting projection after a versioned correction route is introduced.

Shared metric kind of a candidate or a reported pair diagnostic.
arc:nativePayload — nativePayload
Exact original UTF-8 JSON-LD capture retained as an rdf:JSON literal, without replacing native fields with inferred interpretations.
arc:nativeSettingsLexical — nativeSettingsLexical
Exact declared native attribution-settings content; comparison requires matching applicable content rather than matching basis labels.
